From Checking in to checking out, including my procedure, everything went smoothly. The sweet tech that did my ultrasound, the nurses and technicians who cared for me-Ms. Shannon, Ms. Bridget, Ms. Susan, and Ms. Blessy, Randy, Dr. Wright and Dr. Hamat we?re all extremely kind and professional. The care I received was amazing. I felt comfortable and safe with these individuals. I would highly recommend Dr. Hamat and his staff.
I was greeted at front desk with pleasant smile.The service speedy only waited in front about 20 minutes and was called back for the doctor! I throughly enjoy the nurse handling of questions about my health! Friendly and professional. Everyone was so helpful left there feeling like every issue was taken care of completely.
From the front desk through out my visit at North Houston Endoscopy & Surgery was great. They were friendly, professional and presented a very cheerful atmosphere. Made my colonoscopy screen a breeze. A big thank you to the Doctors, nurses and staff .
Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was there less than and hour for a new patient consult. My appointment for the procedure was surprisingly sooner than I thought it would be. I am very happy that my PCP referred me to Digestive & Liver Disease Consultants.
I didn?t wait a long time to be seen. Juanita the intake person made me feel so comfortable. The nurse practitioner was very friendly and I really felt comfortable with her as well. All in all it was a wonderful experience for me.
I recently move here from Illinois. I was having a difficult time finding doctors, that i was comfortable with my care. At this office Dr Mohammad was informative,professional and nice. Actually ALL of the staff was exceptional. My wait time was minimal. I just wish i could remember all of their names. Excellent office experience
My first visit with Dr Hamat was very pleasant. He took the time to put all my information and didn?t rush through his visit with me and was genuinely concerned about how to help me. Rhonda his nurse was very nice and Anna from the Humble office really helped to copy and scan my medical records and was very kind. Overal it made me feel good to be their patient.

Dr Aziz explained to me on my level so that I understood exactly what he would be doing during a procedure. He's an Amazing Doctor and his nurse Megan is Wonderful. Dr Reddy and his PA Laura P have taken care of my husband and I for years. I can?t imagine why we would ever go anywhere else. His facilities are 5 star. Going in for the dreaded colonoscopy is almost like being pampered at a spa. And his staff and nurses are extremely efficient. I just wished all my doctors where as well staffed and organized. I highly recommend him.
Katherine Bycura PA, is very, very thorough and very professional. She helped me discover my disease which was not uncovered until she suggested many tests. One of the tests was the breath test and she diagnosed me with SIBO.
I woul love to leave a 5 star review for Dr. Hamat & Katie Bycura the nurse practitioner. They are awesome. Professional, thorough, kind & answers all of my questions. My complaints are with the office staff. My PCP referred me in February. Your office was told by my Dr & my insurance company that an office visit did NOT need a referral for established pts. I was refused an office visit for 3 months because intake insisted on an unnecessary referral. I was symptomatic at the time of referral! Getting return calls after leaving messages is a long & arduous process.
From my first appointment, I been impressed with their professional and friendly approach to my health issues; especially a complete analysis of test results with a positive plan of action!
Yesterday was my 1st visit with this practice, however, I?ve had GI issues for a long time. My appointment was with Katherine Bybura and I can?t speak highly enough of her. She gave me hope and piece of mind. I have no doubt she will get me on the right road to recovery. I believe her name was Stephanie was at the front desk, she was very sweet and polite and I think Ashley was the nurses name, she was very nice and helpful. I will recommend this practice to anyone who may ask. I was very impressed as a new patient.
Dr. Aziz was very attentive. Listened and addressed my concerns/questions. Set a course for my future care and set it into action. Being heard is so important. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

I just started going here as needed to seek new Dr. They seem very nice and professional yet kind and make you feel like they are listening to you. The staff are sweet and helpful. Miss Camille helped me so much and Dr. H Mouhmond was kind and had such a sweet disposition, kind eyes and heart. Hopefully he will help me and I am truly blessed that theord has sent me here.

I recently was seen at Digestive & Liver Disease Consults. It was my first visit with Dr. Kwak, it put my mind at ease to be in the hands of such a caring professional. In the consultation not only was the best treatment planned out for me. My needs were taken in consideration along with my healing process. For some people that might not be a big deal. However I have come across and left medical practices that do not include me in my healings process. Accompanied by a pleasantly caring staff my first visit with Dr. Kwak was great and most of all productive. I highly recommend this practice to meet your needs.
Dr. Hamat has forever changed my life after just one visit! He attentively listened to my concerns, and ordered accessible tests to determine the source of my digestive health issues. The quick results eliminated common diagnosis & confirmed a very rare congenital condition, which is normally identified in children due to digestive discomfort, not in 40 year olds, who have been experiencing symptoms their while lives. Dr. Hamat?s staff called me with results and explained the process for obtaining the specialty prescription ?treatment?, which I?ve been taking for 1 week, and already have had tremendous results, which have absolutely improved my life. Dr. Hamat?s bedside manner is respectfully compassionate, and he?s open to considering low likelihood, non-invasive testing options to pinpoint an appropriate diagnosis. His staff are friendly and down to earth, making each appointment feel like you are visiting old friends, rather than the nervousness experienced when visiting many health providers. Also, there is no wait. They start their appointments on time, and don?t make you feel rushed as they inquire to your symptoms, but are efficient in processing your needs, such that you can get back to the rest of your life within 1 hour of your appointment. They are a very well run health provider office, and make their in office patients a priority. The only area where I would suggest improvement is related to reaching staff when trying to confirm test results, as I had a very difficult time reaching staff between diagnosis and specialty prescription ordering, noting it seems like their automated phone system may have some unexpected errors when routing calls & messages.
These people are horrible. They never return phone calls. We have been trying to get medical records as they just gave up on trying to figure out what is wrong with my husband and we can't get anyone to return calls to let us know if we can pick these up. The only option given is to print and fax (of which we have no way to do) when you call regarding the records. Nurses don't call back. Management doesn't call back. I would not refer ANYONE to this office.

I received excellent care... both when ill and with regular preventative healthcare. Ms. Connie is thoughtful, caring and very thorough. I would highly recommend Ms. Connie and Dr. Hamat. My hubby and I have been patients since 2019. I'm sure the other doctors in this practice are also highly skilled.
Dr. Mohamed D. Mahmoud is so awesome. He listens without cutting you off and is very informative. He has wonderful bedside manners. Which is always a plus.
This was the most frustrating experience I've had with a doctor's office. You will not be able to speak to a human when you call and it will take you hours to chase after them to get someone to respond to you. Who has an entire day to spend leaving messages, sending emails, and continue calling until you actually get to speak to someone? Then, when you do get someone, their attitudes are rude and not helpful. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience to waste so much time dealing with them.
I made an appointment with Dr. Aziz for December in September. They changed it 5 times. Very frustrating!!! When I finally got there, I had to see the NP Katie. That was not what I wanted, but Katie was fantastic! I still want to see Dr. Aziz for my next appointment, but after that, I would be happy to see Katie.

Absolutely the best facility to have any procedure done. Everything was clean and well organized. Everyone was the best at what they do, weather it was filling out forms or seeing to your comfort and they went over everything with details that you understood what was to happen before and after your procedure.
We called to let them know we were on our way because our previous dr?s appointment took longer than expected.apparently they never got the message. At arrival we felt the mistreatment as we were asked, in a very rude manner, three times why we came in late. We let them know we called ahead to tell we were on our way. We even left a message at the office manager?s ph. The lady that initially took care of us was upset. Then came the registered nurse who was actually kind at the beginning. My husband asked for permission from her to attend an urgent call from work. Permission was acknowledged by registered nurse. The registered nurse after explaining the process got upset when we asked, in a very kind and sweet manner, when the Md would take care of us. She said in a very upset voice the appointment was with her, got up from her chair and slammed the door. Never came back. After a while , The First Lady, entry data professional, came in and was not much nicer when we explained no one told us we were not to be seen by an MD. We even apologized for asking where was the Doctor. We just made a simple question , though we were very appreciative of the registered nurse knowledge and professional explanation of the procedure. We actually left very much mistreated, discriminated against and feeling worse than when we went in. We paid for a Dr?s appointment, and came out while the data entry professional nodded her head, no prescription, no medical procedure. We have no doubt of their knowledge, professionalism and care, however their manners are not the best.

Nice building, very warm and friendly front staff and assistants. Dr. Hamat was very knowledgeable, thorough, and I liked his treatment plan for me. I was brought back right away and had to wait but didn’t mind since I was in a private room and I prefer doctors that don’t rush through their patients.

Then I go to see where I pay for the lab fee and im told that it would be $60 more because your a new patient. $60 more didn't include the lab fee that was just extra for the doctor consultation. Why wasn't I informed of that when I asked before I made the appointment. So for a new patient visit the total was $140 without insurance. Just talking to the lady cost $140. Thats fine just wished I was informed about that before the visit.

Receptionist was pleasant and efficient. Dr Hamet and staff were pleasant and very thorough. Dr Hamet is very personable and knowledgeable, he also has a great bedside manner. The visit went very well and in a timely manner.

Nobody to help with Spanish speaking patients. Had to cancel appointments for grandma because they don’t speak Spanish in the office.

I have seen Katie Bycura 3 times now, and have always found her to be professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She doesn’t make you feel rushed. She explains everything and answers all questions. I also like Dr. Hamat, the anesthesiologist, and nursing staff at the surgery center who attended to me during my biopsy. They are all very attentive and professional.My only complaint is that I was not able to have my husband come back with me when I got my liver biopsy results. We were both wearing masks, and I told them we’ve both had the COVID vaccine. I think there should be EXCEPTIONS. Talking on the phone doesn’t cut it.CORRECTION UPDATE: My husband was not able to come back into Katie’s office with me for biopsy results. This is where I think there should be an EXCEPTION as there was a lot of information to absorb and also questions. Coming alone for a regular appointment is fine. The surgery center was great. They did let him come back shortly before I was ready to leave.
All of the employees was on point they seem to be having good order and in a timely fashion and telling you the same information so when the next person call it's what they said was going to happen

The front office assistant was friendly and helpful. Dr Mohamed is knowledgeable and explained to me the results from my previous procedure. Unfortunately the PA was very cold and unfriendly.She called my name and never said anything until when I got to room and all I heard Stand on the scale. I believe we say hello general introduction period.Am in the healthcare field.The worst thing she stood up after whatever she did on the computer and left the room. It was my second visit and I felt i wasn’t welcomed.I had loved the place and here i Am rewinding what took place.
I was treated with respect by friendly staff member who took my insurance information and my temperature. Then she gave me forms to fill. After I completed the forms, I waited for a few minutes. Then I was called back to the examination room. I spoke with the Nurse Practitioner. She talked with me about the issues I have. Then she wrote prescriptions for my medications. I went to the check out desk and set up my next appointment.
The front office staff and the nurse were great, my issue is with the doctor. Did not pay any attention or listen to what I had to say, left me in worse condition prior to him walking in the door, did not pay any attention to what medication I take and decided to prescribe give me wrong dosages without discussing it with me (the patient). After spending the high amount of money to see this “doctor”, I want my money back since he was not helpful and there was no treatment whatsoever provided. Start looking for a new doctor who will listen, help, and provide quality care.
Nice building, very warm and friendly front staff and assistants. Dr. Hamat was very knowledgeable, thorough, and I liked his treatment plan for me. I was brought back right away and had to wait but didn’t mind since I was in a private room and I prefer doctors that don’t rush through their patients.
I had a good experience in my first appointment, overall. The girls at the front are loud and their conversation can be heard in the waiting area. I would suggest that they speak less loud, specially when they talk about patients. I could hear their bad comments about one person that came at the same time I did. I wouldn’t like anyone talking about me in front of others. As for Dr. Nathan Kwak was courteous, but as I mentioned, this was my first time. His MA, Terri is super sweet and answered all my questions, Elvira, the nurse that took my information is exceptional and friendly.

Lady at the front desk lacks sensitivity and manners. My husband had an appointment yesterday.m with Katie (PA. )I asked if I could come in with him since he has onset Alzheimer’s. She told me “no, covid regulations” I tried to explain to her that he forgets details and I had to be there with him. Again, she said “no”! After my husband came out of the appointment, I asked him if everything went ok. He said he “thought “ it did. We proceed it to make a follow up appointment. At that time, I asked the same woman receptionist to please write down on my husband’s records that he has memory problems and therefore, I have to come in with him. She replied “No one other than the patient is allowed to go in and you need to prove to me that he has Alzheimer’s”!!!! I told her that on his records says that he takes meds for his memory and that I WOULD NEVER lie about my husband having such a sad condition. I’m the receptionist replied again that Katie (PA) doesn’t make the rules because she is “just “ another worker there! There is NO WAY that I am taking my husband back there. Such an insensitive person working with patients!! Please don’t take your loved ones ..especially, if they have some type of condition where they need a family member present to ask questions, to take notes et. We like Katie but that front desk person needs training to be more courteous
I absolutely love this group ? I have received the utmost best care and help with my digestive issues in the least amount of time ever. So thankful I was referred to them. Also N.P. Bycura an assistant there is spot on with help determining diagnosis and treatment. She is so personable, positive, and truly gives you the warmth of caring in her role. I do not hesitate giving 5 stars to this established group.

The lady at the front desk, Charlene, lacks professionalism. I've been a patient for over ten years, and this is the first time I've dealt with someone so unprofessional there. For example, I don't know if she realizes all her nasty comments can be heard in the waiting area. I hope I don't ever have to deal with someone like that there again, or she needs to change her attitude. Other than that issue, everything else was good.
All of the staff were very kind & helpful. The doctor answered all of my questions & took my concerns seriously. He introduced me to his PA & made sure that things would be done in a timely manner.
Very difficult to get timely appointments. It took several weeks of repeated calls with almost none of them returned when trying to get the biopsy scheduled that they requested. It then took nearly 10 days to get the results that appeared the doctor was reading for the first time while he saw me. He did not go into any detail that I would have liked more information on after reading the report on my own. The delays caused me to not be able to schedule other tests that should have gone on this year's insurance which will cost me thousands that would have been covered this year.
I have had nothing but the best care at this office. Dr Hamat is attentive, competent and professional. He talks to me in language I can understand. There's never been a long wait either in the waiting area or the exam room. The nurses, especially Rhonda, are so kind and professional, they put the CARE in patient care. Emails are always replied to in a timely manner. If i could give more than 5 stars i most certainly would.
Dr. Aziz was terrific! He has such a wonderful bedside manner. He is very personable, listens well, and is extremely thorough. I did like my old Gastroenterologist out of state, but Dr. Aziz is even better and more thorough than my old GI doc, which is saying a lot! You can tell he was trained well and that he truly cares about his patients. I am glad that I got onto his book of patients while he's young. Docs like him are hard to find and their books fill up fast!

Love the providers I've dealt with; I actually feel heard! Believe me - that is a rarity. I left a v-mail for office manager followed by a message on patient portal to check my appt. and got no response. I was finally called to change my appt. since Katy went on leave and I was told there was no record of my calls -5 in total for schedulers.The message system and schedulers need to have their process reviewed. As a patient it is very disconcerting, especially if I would have been charged for a missed appt if I was not reached after all my attempts.
The nurse practitioner was very nice, professional and took her time explaining everything to me. She answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. Thank you.

I had Avery good experience, at check in , seeing anew Physician, Dr. Aziz, addressing my needs , and check out. I have lost two Physicians in this Practice, and my past communications with the Practice, have been difficult. This was a good experience.
As many have said, Dr. Reddy and Laura Peterkin are great- no issues there. Again, as others have said, the back office staff, the response time to messages, the info that comes from the office staff is horrendous. When I retired, I had 14-15 individuals that reported to me over the years on my staff. If any of them did some of things this staff does in terms of what I mentioned, they wouldn’t have worked alongside me. Thought: maybe the timing problems, the messaging problems, the communication problems, etc are all due to the age of the equipment and system used in the office. I say this because the problems today are the same as 20 years ago. Finally, get rid of that music you play when people are holding. That stuff is annoying.

I've seen Dr Reddy in 2017 and was very happy with what he offered in terms of answers and trying to figure out what was wrong. I just recently started seeing him and Dr. Laura for unrelated issues and I'm upset with the way I have been treated at this location. First, they wanted to schedule an endoscopy and hydrogen breath test in March. They gave me a number to call to schedule. I called 3 times to this number and nobody returned my call. I was dealing with other health issues between April & May & so I waited until May to try and schedule again. I called the main number and they gave me the correct number to the scheduler. So my first complaint is not getting the correct number to schedule the procedure. Next, I'm in pretty bad pain and things got worse. They were able to get me in for an endoscopy pretty quickly so I was happy about that. They told me not to do the Hydrogen Breath Test because I was very nauseous and to wait until after the endoscopy. Okay great. After endoscopy I received paper work that says i have GERD and they gave me instructions on how to eat and medication. Well none of this was working so I messaged and they said continue with the hydrogen breath test. Fast forward to finally having Dr Laura call me, and honestly I left that conversation so upset I hung up on her. She told me I didn't have GERD, THEN WHY IN THE WORLD DID YOU PEOPLE PRESCRIBE ME UNNECESSSARY MEDICATION & TELL ME I DID. (this was not her fault) but I don't understand why Dr. Reddy would say I have GERD if there is no evidence? Then after realizing I couldn't get into to do a hydrogen breath test soon enough (I understand this, doctors are busy and they only have open availability), but I couldn't wait so I was hoping she could at least provide me with relief. She then made a comment that I should've scheduled in March when I originally saw her. Maybe I took that comment the wrong way, but it upset me. I tried to schedule! This office needs to work on their communication and correcting the phone extensions because they take you to the wrong person.

I’m hesitant to post a review as I am still a patient but here goes anyway.I absolutely love Katie and cannot say enough great things about her. She makes me feel reassured and that she really wants to help me. I believe she really cares. It comes through in her work, attitude and smile. She takes the time to explain things and go over all the options. I never feel rushed but I’m respectful of her time.With that being said, I agree with some of the comments in other reviews. They do not answer the phone and return messages promptly. I’ve been dealing with a member of the office staff who probably shouldn’t be answering the phone/questions. She’s very curt and always sounds mad. I don’t doubt that she’s knowledgeable but she seems to dislike answering questions and relating to patients. I’ve spoken to her about 3 or 4 times during treatment and my last phone conversation was not contentious or angry but she hung up without saying bye. I thought that was weird. If she didn’t have such a sour attitude I might have written it off as an accident.I give the practice 4 stars because of the doctors and Katie. I honestly can’t give it 5 because of the staff. They could improve in customer service and empathy. Whether they know it or not, that comes across loud and clear even over the phone.

The entire staff was so attentive and caring. One scar.......the Dr. was so late. It seemed to make everyone uncomfortable. The nurse kept apologizing. I understand things happen but when he finally showed up he did not even speak nor did he offer any apologies.

The nurse advised they would back with her the next day after her Dr. approved the procedure. NO phone call. I called her Dr on Monday to see if they approved the procedure and they did. NO calls. I have left messages and emailed to nurse. NO response. Mom needs the procedure to fix her blockage. Going to look for a different Doctor this morning who will respond to phone calls.
The staff here is really great. From the front desk to the back, everyone was kind and caring. I was very happy with my experience here.
Medical staff is great. My issue is with just the office visit pay itself. I call and asked how much would it be for the visit and was told $80 and the plus if you do any labs or test. Then I go to see where I pay for the lab and im told that it would be $60 more because your a new patient. Why wasn't I informed of that when I asked before I made the appointment. So for a new patient visit the total was $140 without insurance. Thats fine just wished I was informed about that before the visit.
